One day I learned that a young lady I served with in a ministry at my church was suffering from migraines. I admired her dedication because she was still serving while she was having a migraine one night, but I became angry because she shouldn’t have to live like that. (Your purpose will make you mad.) I messaged her that I had been praying for her and asked if I could lay my hands on her and pray the next time I saw her. She thanked me and said yes. The next time I saw her, I grabbed two prayer warriors, and we formed a prayer circle. I laid my hands on her and prayed His Word. We were all in agreement. When I saw her a month later, she said she had not had a migraine since! I later learned that a photographer captured the moment with my hands in the air giving praise to God when she told me the news. We must give God ALL the glory. We did not heal her–God did. We were the willing vessels.
Everything we do and everything we have is because of God. We are simply stewards of all He has given us. We can do nothing in our own strength. It is God who is working on the inside of us, and His timing is perfect. He makes a way, He provides, He heals, He delivers, He saves, He restores, He frees, He transforms, and He protects! We should always make a big deal out of Him and not us.
Whatever gifts He has given you, use them. Whatever He tells you to do, do it. (Especially when you don’t understand it.) He always has a plan. Don’t know where to start? Before you ask everyone else, ask Him. He will tell you and give you a strategy and the people to help you carry it out! If you could do it on your own, you would have done it already. You are the answer to someone’s miracle!
