I’m still processing the mighty miracles that took place last Saturday. In addition to leading the Single Parents Support Group at my church, I serve with the Singles Ministry. This month, I hosted with my buddy Perry for the Singles Thanks-Gathering Café event!
I almost made an impulsive decision to leave an assignment earlier this year, but I knew it was what the enemy wanted, so I stayed. You will reap God’s blessings when you’re obedient to Him. As I prayed for several people’s healing on Saturday night, I received my healing. I immediately felt cleansed and free! Every negative emotion I had been feeling melted away as I boldly prayed God’s Word over others.
Please don’t miss this. God will use you in your brokenness–when your feelings are hurt, when your money is funny, when people mistreat you, when your family is acting crazy, when your kids are misbehaving in school, when your coworkers plot your demise, and so on. Even when everything isn’t going right in your life, it doesn’t give you a pass not to use your gifts and disobey Him. You’re being tested.
Make sure you pass the test. Don’t get stuck in a cycle. In this season, something is being produced in you that you’ll need for the next. I received my healing because of my obedience. I passed the test! Praise God!! I’m so glad I decided to push and not go by my feelings. You’re closer than you think you are. So don’t quit, don’t give up, hold on and continue to PUSH.
I had valid reasons to cancel, but I’ve experienced enough tricks of the enemy to know when he’s trying to keep me (and others) from our blessings. Remember this: he is not original. He will come at you with the same ‘ole stuff, so it’s up to us to recognize his tricks and lies and push ahead anyhow. You see, I had several divine assignments at this event that I did not know about.
The people were watching from around the world. From Washington, D.C. to North Carolina to Jamaica and Japan…there are over 8,000 views and counting! The energy in the room was amazing. The praise and worship and the messages about gratitude were next level. There was this one bombshell I have to share.
One of the speakers, Minister Andre Crouch Jr., said this…
“Impatient people make impulsive decisions. And the problem is everybody wants God to elevate them, but God can’t trust impulsive people. God can’t trust impulsive people with elevation… jump[ing] from relationship to relationship; jump[ing] from job to job. As soon as somebody offends you, ‘I’m out. Girl, I just put my two weeks in. I told them I’ll figure it out.’ Impulsive. Without faith, it’s impossible to please God, and you have to be faithful. You can’t be faithful when you’re impulsive because you never stay faithful long enough for God to do what He wants to do in your life.”
Woooow. See the event here.
I’m reminded of Isaiah 40:31…
“But those who trust in the Lord will become strong again. They will be like eagles that grow new feathers. They will run and not get weak. They will walk and not get tired.”
The questions from our icebreaker at the event were fun.
