Me and Ms. Bridget, Founder of My Sister’s Keeper
In April, I experienced a dead situation and watched it come back to life! In hindsight, I should not have been surprised because it was close to Easter. And we all know how that story ended… He’s not dead, He has risen!
It was business as usual when I sent out an email advertising my t-shirts. That night, the miracle that I had been praying for happened. I got my first keynote address invite! It was truly a “midnight hour” blessing. To make the occasion even more special, it was being held on my birthday. God was saying, “Happy Birthday My Love!”
The thing about that week is that it had been a hard one for me. Being full-time in business has it’s ups and downs. With that said, I want you to know that God is faithful. He won’t call you to a place where He won’t provide. He has taken me to a deeper level where I’m seeking Him and trusting Him like never before. In Communion Service (a few weeks before my miracle), the one and only urban contemporary gospel artist and musician Anthony Brown starting singing a powerful tune, “This week will be a week for miracles. I don’t have to wait ’til I see it. I can praise Him now ‘cause I believe it…” We stayed about 30-40 minutes past Communion Service basking in His presence. The band never stopped playing and Anthony never stopped singing. It was a post-service to remember. Two days later, it spilled over to Bible Study…then again to the next week in Sunday’s church service… “This week —will be— a week for— miracles…” The difference this week? Anthony added a line: “This week— will be— a week for —miracles…walk into your miracle…” The entire congregation began walking around the church to the beat. I was no exception. I began to walk claiming my territory!
The Miracle in Post-Communion Service
This week will be a week for miracles!!!
As another song says, “God is able to do just what he said he would do. He’s gonna fulfill every promise to you. Don’t give up on God, cause he won’t give up on you. He’s able.”

God will never retire from the miracle-making business! I encourage you to be still and hear what He is saying to you. When you have a relationship with someone you talk and spend time with them—God is no different. What is He saying? If He’s not saying anything right now, what was the last thing He told you? While you patiently wait for your miracle(s), praise and thank Him for what He has already done. Get it in your spirit that if He never does another thing for you, He has already done enough. I’ll give you a window into my program: I have my clients write down 5 things that they’re grateful for every day. It makes a HUGE difference on your perspective, helps you to be be content in your now, and does wonders for your overall mental well-being.
May this week, and the next, to infinity and beyond, be weeks of miracles for you!
Special shout out to my daughter who turned 19-years-old the day after my birthday :)))
Enjoy your Mother’s Day!
You see, the things that I had been procrastinating and dragging my feet about, I put to the forefront because of those eight words. “This week will be a week of miracles” never left my spirit for weeks and weeks. I wrote it at the top of my to do list almost every day and positioned myself for miracles. We’re not done after we pray. God is waiting for us to do our part too. After I did my part, the miracles came flooding in: First came the keynote, then a meeting with a new divine connection, then another divine connection recommended me to speak for an organization that was on my wish list!
