How did you bring in 2025? I was at my church’s 10:30 p.m. service. I was stunned to see Stevie Wonder in the congregation, too. (OMG!) The whole service was electrifying! The Word (and theme for the year) was “Every Disciple Making a Disciple.” God calls us to first be disciples, but it doesn’t stop there. We are to teach what we know to others. I especially loved the after party (not seen on the replay) with none other than urban contemporary gospel artist and musician Anthony Brown of Anthony Brown & group therAPy. He’s our Minister of Music, along with another minister. Oftentimes, the choir goes into overtime after the service is over, and when this happens, you don’t want to leave. You know I HAD to get up there to experience it up close, haha! We even did the Electric Slide and the Cha Cha Slide 🙂 I have a clip of some of the after party in my Drama Dropouts Facebook Group!

We made it!!! I don’t know about you but, there is MUCH to do in 2025. First, we can finish what we started but didn’t complete in 2024. It’s ok. Give yourself some grace because we’re human. And God will help us. Whether it’s help with a child or family member, a new attitude or outlook, a much-needed new car, a place to call home, healing, a financial breakthrough, the desire to have a closer relationship with Him, or something else, watch God move on your behalf and make Himself real to you.
Let’s get to work and participate in our miracle, and watch Him bless us and do the impossible. Participating in your miracle can look like reading the Bible more, making better food choices, exercising, taking the first step with an idea He gave you, or looking for a new car or home. God has been talking to me about decluttering, and when I started, things in other areas of my life started moving and happening! God is not playing with us. Let’s get in position. I’m believing for whatever you need right now.
