Julie Andrews was right - Single Mama With No Drama %

I pray that your Christmas was wonderful. My favorite movie The Sound of Music was on last week! As Julie Andrews sang the famous song “My Favorite Things,” a song about what she thinks about when times are bad, this scripture dropped into my spirit.

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8

As I watched the scene grinning from ear to ear for the millionth time, I thought about how timely the song was.

In other words, what have you been trying to do, and it keeps getting derailed? Your battle is your bread! I’ve been super serious about what God has trusted me with ever since.
