Today I’m reminded of my unforgettable trip to Israel a few years ago.
I have ALL this stuff wrong with my car, and the dealership wanted thousands of dollars, which I don’t have.
As I begin this new year, I ask that You will create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
The blast of arctic air that settled upon us in the central and eastern U.S. a week ago caused a disruption for me.

But seriously, what in the world made this introvert (Yes, really, I am!) dress up in a cape, throw the cape off in dramatic fashion, and sing and play with my leg up on the piano (like Jerry did) in a wild manner?
Suddenly, her strength grew, and boldness took over. She jumped into the river holding onto nothing but a tree branch while the current carried her.
A few months ago, I was in prayer, and the Holy Spirit told me that today there would be a lady with a cane that I was to lay hands on and pray for.
After a series of back-to-back stressors, I landed in the ER at the beginning of the year. I was diagnosed with tension headaches, anxiety, and depression—all things relatively new to me. My mind was under attack. It was clear: The enemy was trying to kill me.
